A LIVE DEMONSTRATION OF THE MEDIATION OF DISPUTES ON AN INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT


At the June conference attendees expressed great interest in the process of mediation and potential value in avoiding costly arbitration and litigation in the face of substantial construction disputes. In this morning session, a leading international mediator will conduct a "simulated mediation" of typical construction disputes between a contractor and owner in Latin America with participation by lawyers, experts, a contractor and an owner, together with a narrator who will provide in depth understanding of the mediation process and its nuances as they develop during the simulated mediation.
