"Congress reached the same conclusion in 1986, specifically refusing to impose a warrant requirement on the radio portion of a cordless telephone communication."1

"[..] "He knows everyone needs to do something to take care of themselves down here," said one long-haired young woman in short shorts and a thin cotton blouse as she waited in handcuffs for Garrity to run a warrant check on her."2

3. warrant arrest - prisão por mandado

"The officer showed up at this Leominster home, attempting to conduct a warrant arrest involving an alleged drug dependency."3

4. warrant officer - oficial de justiça, policial

"Once an officer, always an officer. And I had been a warrant officer by rank, and a criminal investigator by occupation."

5. warrant application - pedido de expedição de mandado judicial

"In addition, Judge Brown ruled that even if the information the confidential sources provided was the product of torture, defense lawyers had presented no evidence that the FBI agent who prepared the warrant application was aware that they had been tortured."4

"The warrant clause also limits the scope of a search by requiring that police describe with particularity the place to be searched and the things to be seized."5
